Republicans can't deal with medical care:

Republicans had, and many still believe the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is and will continue to be an issue to their political net advantage.
[The United States has begun to join all other of the world's industrial nation that had previously recognized their population's need for medical treatment as a human right and concern of their government]. Republican's dilemma is no nation's population obtaining such a government commitment, has ever wanted it rescinded.

Republicans have been unable to convince the majority of USA voters that access to medical treatment should not be considered as a necessary human right and concern of their government.

Republicans' Dilemma:

Republicans have been unable to convince the majority of USA voters that access to medical treatment should not be considered as a necessary human right and concern of their government.
Failing that, they have been unable to convince voters that it should be repealed before they can devise and pass a superior government medical policy, due to their inability to devise and agree among themselves and pass what they believe should be our government's superior medical policy.

Republicans remain currently opposed to any bi-partisan efforts for improving or replacing the Affordable Care Act with a superior government policy that recognizes human entitlement of access to medical treatment, (I suppose that will be the eventuality).

When Republicans are finally forced to recognize individual's entitlements to medical treatment as a human right, they will need to convince voters that they had never opposed the concept. Otherwise, Republicans opposition to legal entitlement of medical treatment will be as federal minimum wage rate and social security retirement are, programs that will continue to be politically net detrimental to the Republican Party.

Somebody's human right to access medical treatment does not obligate somebody else to pay for it.

And they shouldn't deal with medical care. Neither should the Democrats. Just turn it over to the Private Sector where it belongs.
Flash and Granule, for the protection and benefit for our aggregate society, individuals' entitlement of access to medical treatment, similar to other protection of our nation's aggregate and our individual lives and property should be no less upheld and protected by our governments.

Supposn, you need to stop supposing that a right is a left wing, socialist, marxist program.

Get your heads out of the Bill of Rights; it's not good for America.

Didn't Trump promise us a universal health care system? Better and cheaper than Obamacare.

Granule, the “Bill of Rights” is not “good for America”? We should change the oath of office to be, protect and uphold the constitution and “those of its laws I agree with”? Did you really mean to post that? Respectfully, Supposn

That is a political opinion and what makes Americans different. Trying to make it a "human right" is just an emotional appeal. Government has no money to provide this protection unless they take it away from others. Those taxpayers get to decide (though political decisions) whether they want government to take this action. It may be something you favor politically, but nothing somebody is entitled to.

I see no reason why the entire cost of health care should not be paid for by demmycrats........

Flash, what precisely are you posting? Do you contend that the government's illegally paying police and firefighter officers because they're spending taxpayer dollars? Medicare and Medicaid payments are illegal? Government payments of any entitlements are illegal? You haven't thoroughly contemplated what you posted.

No, I didn't say anything about being illegal. These are all programs Americans accept and generally want to pay for. These are programs Americans support and they are not paid because somebody claims they are human rights people are automatically entitled to.

Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid are all entitlements but that is a budgetary term meaning Congress does not appropriate an amount but it is paid to everyone who is eligible. We have not yet made the political decision to provide medical care for all--largely because of the huge cost people are unwilling to pay for with an already $22 trillion debt and $1 trillion deficits. Also, because of the $60 billion fraud Medicare reports.

Flash, due to federal statutes, the federal government pays for many instances of medical care. Those payments are the recipients' entitlements. It's not a matter determined by public opinion polls.

If and when the U.S. Congress determines that are current national health policy does not provide comprehensive adequate medical insurance coverage for our nation, and is comparatively much more expensive that those of all other industrial nations while consequentially providing poorer public heath outcomes than those achieved by many other nations, the U.S. Congress may pass a superior plan for basic comprehensive medical insurance covering all U.S. legal residents.

If the new act becomes enacted to be federal laws and regulations, the payments due to the new act will be made to those who are entitled to receive them.

The taxes to pay for single payer health insurance would be cheaper than the health insurance premiums that you and your employer are paying now.

Isn't that something that Trump promised that he had a plan for?

We all pay for each others with our taxes. Do you think if you get cancer you will be paying for your treatment? Serious health problems can bankrupt a fairly wealthy family'.The vast majority of bankruptcies include medical problems as a major cause.
Our system sucks. Your reaction.I will not pay for others getting ill, fuck them. If they are poor, then let them die.
We are happy to have our taxes take the stress and financial problems out of illnesses and accidents. We want you to not worry about losing your home due to an accident.
