“House GOP rejects Senate-passed DHS bill”

“Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) on Friday rejected a Senate-passed bill to fund much of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), but not immigration enforcement, instead proposing a stopgap to fund the entire department for eight weeks.”

“The move amounts to a stunning rebuke of the upper chamber by GOP leaders — and extends the length of what is already the longest partial government shutdown in history in its 42nd day.”

Once again ends MAGA fiction that the Democrats are responsible, and I’m sure little Mikey will send all the members home on the two week vacation tomorrow

In other words, the Senate passed a bill to fund the parts of DHS that the Democrats want funded while leaving those--immigration enforcement and related issues--unfunded. It is a capitulation to the Democrats. I'd say the Senate Republicans should tell the Democrats to shove that idea up their ass and that's that.

Don't give an inch rope to those asshole Leftist Democrats! You do and they'll hang you with it. Let them swing. They're the ones in the wrong here. Immigration enforcement, especially removing criminal illegals in the US in their entirety, is something long overdue.
