researchers have found strong evidence that racism helps the gop win

In thousands and thousands of unmarked cemeteries throughout the South, the gradual decay of human remains forms shallow depressions in the earth. There is no comprehensive list of such sites, and many have been destroyed. Still, in places such as Charlotte and Orange and Bedford and Hendersonville and Tuscaloosa, the ground undulates over those believed to have been slaves.

There are places in the political landscape, too, where the ground shifts ever so slightly, where slavery has warped the electoral terrain.

In the South, it seems, old prejudices have persisted. Southern counties that had more slaves on the eve of the Civil War are distinct from their neighbors: White residents in those areas are more hostile toward African Americans and they are more likely to vote Republican today, new research shows. Drawing on archival Census figures and recent polls, the study adds to an expanding body of evidence on the importance of racial anxiety to the predominantly white Republican coalition.

"The underlying racial hostility goes on in the culture, passed on from generation to generation," said David Sears, a psychologist at the University of California, Los Angeles. "Local culture doesn't change very quickly."

Of course, many things have changed in the South in the century and a half since emancipation. Slavery's lingering political effects are often buried in the data, just as many old graves have been paved over and others are hidden by weeds and brambles.

If you know what to look for, though, you can still see the depressions

Anonymous Outs 4 Republican Senators As Associated With The KKK And Hate Groups
Republican senators Thom Tills (NC), Dan Coates (IN), John Cornyn (TX) and Johnny Isakson (GA) have all been outed by an Anonymous document dump that is seeking to reveal the identities of 1,000 members of the KKK and other affiliated racial hate groups.

On October 27th, Anonymous vowed to out the names of 1,000 members of the KKK or affiliated racial hate groups, “The aim of this operation is digital. Another cyber war trist, nothing more. We are not violent. We will release, to the global public, the identities of up to 1000 klan members, Ghoul Squad affiliates and other close associates of various factions of the Ku Klux Klan across the Unites States.”

The group has made good on their threat by listing four Republican senators and five mayors who they say are involved with the KKK:

1.United States Senator From North Carolina: Thomas Tillis aka Thom Tillis: Age 55: Wife Susan Tillis, Both living in: Cornelius, North Carolina.Known KKK Affiliated group:United Northern and Southern Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. Thornton.

2.United States Senator From Texas: John Cornyn: Age 63: Wife Sandy Cornyn, Both living in: Austin,Texas: Known KKK Affiliated Group: United White Knights Of The Ku Klux Klan.

3.United States Senator From Georgia: John Hardy Isakson: Age 70: Wife Dianne Davison: Both Living in: Marietta, Georgia. Known KKK Affiliated Group: Original Knight Riders Of the KKK.

4.United States Senator From Indiana: Dan Coats: age 72: Wife Marsha Coats, Both living in: Fort Wayne,Indiana. Known KKK Affiliated Group:United Northern and Southern Knights of the Ku Klux Klan

If true, this is a devastating exposure of the racism that has long been suspected of running wild within the Republican Party. The racist treatment that President Obama has endured during his time in office along with the success of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign has provided ample evidence of the race-based feelings of many people who vote Republican. But until now, there has not been any evidence that there was more behind the Republican efforts than an ugly political strategy.

If Anonymous has the evidence to prove these allegations, it will shake American politics to its core. The operation by Anonymous has attracted the attention of Fox News, which means that it is on the radar of the Republican Party. From a political perspective, any evidence that these senators are involved with the KKK would be devastating for the Republican Party in a presidential election year.

The story is still developing, but Anonymous could make the worst fears of the Republican Party come true while doing a public service by exposing the racist elements at the highest levels of political power.

one party passed a crime bill which jailed half of the adult black population, helped pass nafta which made sure the rest had no jobs, and champions illegal immigration making sure that blacks had more competition for the jobs that were available in the future despite being trusted with 90% of the black vote.

Which party is this? :)

Democrats know they're the biggest fucking racists on the planet. It's why their shit stained fingers are forever pointed at Republicans.

It's a hallmark of all right-wing groups. Those that despise racism and racists should combat it through Socialism. Socialism is the antidote.
