I am watching Robocop again after many times because fuck you that's why.

As I was watching, I was amazed at how accurate it is in predicting the future just like any other movies/books.

Robocop was released in 1987. All the fears and propaganda were the same as they are today. Just like older movies/books. It's always the same. The same scare mongering. Big corporations and rich politicians preying on our fears. For example, creating a problem/crisis that is so severe that we beg them to offer a solution and they profit from it. That's how they roll (rolling in money).

And this part from Robocop is so hilarious and sad/scary at the same time. That's how the game is played.

They made a remake of Robocop 2014. In the remake, the first use of robotic "cops" was on the foreign battlefield. That might be a more accurate prediction of how such a thing would be implemented, at least at first.
