The Crimson Tide demolished Notre Dame to win the BCS Championship yet again!

3 Championships in 4 years and the first back to back in decades.

I woudn't brag. Something was seriously wrong with the officiating in that game (And I'm no Notre Dame fan). The good news is that it put a stake through the heart of the BCS for good!

I don't think officiating made too much of a difference. 'Bama was clicking on all cylinders yesterday.

Another NC for them is pretty boring, though.
 
I must say, I find myself getting more annoyed with Alabama criticism than with Alabama and the SEC itself. "ZOMG LSU-Bama game boring!" "Ah, too many titles for Bama in a four year span!"

If you actually enjoy college football, you won't be making these comments. Hell, watching Notre Dame in the 90's as a kid was loads of fun, even though they didn't win a title after 1988, and only came close in 1993.
 
The state of Alabama has won the last four bcs championships. The state of Alabama also practices the capitalist version of (private) wealth distribution i.e. Alabama and Auburn alum redistributing their money to poor college athletes.

After being preseasoned ranked #1 and then having an absolutely disaster of a seaon I did get a small amount of joy seeing ND grabbing their ankles and being violated and Manti T'eo playing a horrible game.

Oh I'm sure Bama would have won but it was rediculous that a game of this magnitude could have such pittiful officiating. I mean they essentially gave Bama a 21 pt head start.

I have to admit......it's always nice to see ND get ass raped......but not by the officials. Then again....it's usually the other way around. ND's opponents are usually the ones who get ass raped by the officials.
 
The UW loss to WSU and the Alabama victory remind me of how much the Huskies piss me off. They should be made to suffer horribly for that game back in 1926.

Oh man was that a God awful performance by Wittek. QB competition at USC will be WIDE OPEN come spring ball (including that stud incoming freshman from Washington).

And speaking off god awful performances I'm on my honeymoon in St. Lucia right now, sick as a dog. Yep, have had the flu since I arrived here on Friday. The wife got sick on Saturday. We are staying on the ocean and neither of us has touched the water yet. It's gorgeous out right now and we're in the room. She's asleep beside me and I'm on JPP. FML.

That call on the punt was not only horrendous, it was a momentum changer given where Notre Dame would have had the ball and what Alabama subsequently did with it.

That happened to me last time I went to the carribean. Started coming down with a nasty cold on the flight down and two days later I sick in bed for the next two days.

I saw 2 questionable calls. How did that give us 21 points? A few tackles at the line of scrimmage would have stopped either of our 3 drives.

I call the punt/fumble call a wash with the Stanford touchdown call.

You can't be serious? Yes the call on the punt was a bad call, but there is no way it affected the outcome of the game.

I am no fan of the BCS, but Notre Dame was outmatched from the coin flip
