Romney is somewhat honest. That is not permitted by the Repubs in the time of Trump. They have to repeat Trump's talk like a Catholic at church. Drop to their knees and all at once repeat the gospel according to Trump. Those who are not obsequious enough get expulsion.

Right now the GOP is totally awash with ethical problems, much more so than the Democrats.

I do not like Romney. His dad was a crappy governor and he was a Repub fighting for the rich. Mittens got into looting companies for his financial fund. They loaded them with debt and sold them off, leaving them to sink. He burned jobs and companies for his own profits.
Mccain occasionally did the right thing, He tied in with Feingold to try and fix Campaign Finance. But his voting record for the people was abysmal.

Some repubs who can actually think about right and wrong will say the right thing. Then the Mcconnell power forces them back into the right-wing mold. Romney is wealthy, but he could not stand up for the right thing. He caved. The Righty bloc holds.
