While running for President, every candidate has to suck up to certain voter groups. That's the nature of the business. But will Romney pander to the far right once he is elected? I personally don't think so. Romney is a populist, and isn't an ideologue. He's essentially a centrist and I have every reason to believe he will govern as a centrist.
