How can this be? Even though the reagans never went to church and ran the country by the positions of the stars, the repub myth is that they were fine, upstanding Christians. Guess the definition of "Christian" must have evolved since then.

It's what's knows as special pleading in terms of logic....the same sort of intellectual garbage people use when they want to push creationism, astrology, esp, paranormal out of body experience, birtherism, speaking in younger, handling snakes, etc. Pretty much falls in the category of anti reason.
