The reason why George W Bush "tied" .... Al Gore....and thats being generous... Is that George W was a "likeable" guy...

Likeability still matters in elections...Issues are really secondary....

I know we got a bunch of wankers neolibertarians on here and a bunch of Lieberman Democrats like Desh who dont like Rudy Giuliani...

But I can definitely see his appeal, he is a likeable guy.... that is why DESPITE all his views against the core Republican ideas....he is still #1....

If Rudy Giuliani is the REP nominee I really cant see the DEMs winning in 2008....

I'm serious.... Rudy can put in play alot of northern states... Which Dem could put in play more Southern states???

Hillary....Unlikely....

Barack.... NOT A CHANCE IN HELL

Edwards.... Maybe

Richardson .... Probably

Unless the South stops being racist conservative religious theocrats....DEMs can only win with Bill Clinton type people....

Rudy is more likely to win than all the other Republican candidates, by a long shot. I can see Hillary either growing or completely falling apart. But no other candidate would stand a chance against Guliani, to tell you the truth.

I really don't see any circumstance short of another terrorist attack that would sway the sheeple into electing a Republican in '08. Unless that Republican is Ron Paul.

Besides Damo, totally seriously, I hated the way he spoke about her on that other board. His appearance here is not unexpected. He should have had the smarts to change his name. Decent people aren't going to forget that kind of thing.

He's just as much of a scumbag, though, and he has the charisma to stay popular no matter what. Another teflon president. A charismatic, not pragmatic, leader. I honestly think the man is a sociopath, like all the other "great" presidents.

I dont see how Barack Obama can win against Rudy in a 1on1 race....

Which states can Barack win that John Kerry didnt???
