There is a closed thread here re. rule 16.

In this new format, when you quote someone it's not possible to alter the username of the person who made the original post.

Is it now necessary to c/p the entire text and edit the username?

Use "FTFY"

So, imagine I had edited your response above to say something childish but that amused me. I could then tell folks I had altered the quote by using "Fixed that for you:" or a shortened version: FTFY (example below)

OK. I don't typically bother with those games, but I think FTFY is better than altering the username.

Mr. Tiny Penis is a master at violating rule 16 and in the old format rule 16b which the mods created and named after him.

LOL. I have an amazing life with two young grandchildren that I'm lucky enough to see often. Just because you voted for a threat to our nation's security, doesn't mean that everyone who recognizes that is 'joyless'.

The overwhelming majority of people in this nation knows that trump must go.

I don't give a fuck if he has a stroke, or a plane crash takes him out.

He has to go.
