Rumor Has It

Rumor has it that Senate majority leader McConnel is planning to have a vote in the Senate to find out how many Senators favor President Trump's idea to move the southern border overload of illegal immigrants to Sanctuary Cities and States. Since a leftist judge in the 9th circuit court has ruled that Trump cannot make the immigrant overload wait in Mexico for their asylum hearings, and the Democrats in the House in Congress refuse to fix immigration laws, Trump has no better choice than to send the overload where they're most wanted and can get humanitarian treatment with the taxpayer's money the Sanctuary Cities get from the federal government every year.

It's a great idea and it should pass easily in the Senate since it surely will get 100% of the Democrat as well as the Republican's vote and then go to the House for Nancy Pelosi's blessing and a 100% House vote to GETTER DONE!!!!!!

It would be interesting as it would cost a great deal of money and once transported there is nothing to keep them there, Off they go into the greater US. Just more Trump BS.

Let them in and build a wall around each one. Apparently, rightys love stupid ideas. Robo, that is Trump pulling shit out of his ass that cannot be done legally, ethically or morally. Of course since you are a Trumplestilskin, those do not figure in your equations.

A leftist judge in the 9th circuit court has ruled that Trump cannot make the immigrant overload wait in Mexico for their asylum hearings.

That injunction was stayed by the Ninth Circuit. Briefs are due Tuesday.

Now is that "rumor" your creation or something you pulled of the likes of "Brierfart?"

Always interesting when a Trumpkin leaves off their source

Just like they do now? How many of them naturally gravitate to sanctuary states/cities anyway?

They work in southern farms and industries. Notice any Mexican restaurants and businesses in the south? Migrants are just following the crops.

Well, the rumor I heard goes a little different.

It's a DOA idea, and it won't pass, because not enough people are willing to stoop to President Trump's level.

And, as stoned noted, The immigrants would be perfectly happy with that idea. They don't care where in the USA they are turned loose. They will simply travel to their original destination and meet up with whomever they were planning to meet up with, family, friends, acquaintances, whatever.

Nordberg's idea of putting walls around all those cities to prevent that was wonderfully laughable (thanks,) but also would totally not surprise anyone if Republicans actually got serious about such an idea. I mean: if they put Trump in office and stood behind him there doesn't seem to be a bottom to the repugnant barrel they endeavor to scrape.

Would it cost more money than it cost to keep and house them at the border?

Why would they want to leave a Sanctuary city or state? What's the difference anyhow they just go wherever now.

Let them in and build a wall around each one.

That would probably be an idea that idiot democrat AOC might have to save them from climate change.

Well then you can articulate with credible and rational text here old pal of mine just exactly what’s illegal about it, why it’s unethical and immoral, right pal? I’ll understand if you can’t!

What level is that?

But the question really is, how perfectly happy will the Democrats that run the Sanctuary Cities be and how will the Democrats in the senate vote on the issue if McConnel decides to put their asses on record like with the Green New Deal?

They don't care where in the USA they are turned loose. They will simply travel to their original destination and meet up with whomever they were planning to meet up with, family, friends, acquaintances, whatever.

Then we’ll put you down as thinking Trump has a great idea, right?

NAH! That kind of thinking matches Nordi’s and AOC’s!

I mean: if they put Trump in office and stood behind him there doesn't seem to be a bottom to the repugnant barrel they endeavor to scrape.

You mean like the lowest unemployment ever for blacks & Hispanics & women, that racist white male privilege pig Trump created right? And OH YEAH! The rip roaring Trump economy too, huh?:dunno::rofl2:

Hello Robo,

What level is that?

Glad you asked about the very low morality of President Trump. I have devoted an entire thread to it. You can join that discussion here:

The President Is A Liar, Narcissist, Demagogue, Cheat, Racist, Zenophobe, and Conman.

But the question really is, how perfectly happy will the Democrats that run the Sanctuary Cities be and how will the Democrats in the senate vote on the issue if McConnel decides to put their asses on record like with the Green New Deal?

So it's all about doing something to Democrats? Why don't you focus on making the nation great again for everybody instead of doing something which impacts people you don't like?

Then we’ll put you down as thinking Trump has a great idea, right?

If you do you'll be putting words in my mouth. Pardon me, but I'll speak for myself. I do not think it is a great idea. I think he would be a fool to do it.

You mean like the lowest unemployment ever for blacks & Hispanics & women, that racist white male privilege pig Trump created right?

Here's an idea. Why don't you just let me have my own say, and you speak for yourself. Isn't that the way freedom of speech is supposed to work? If you're so busy rephrasing what I say and considering that instead of what I actually said, then you're really responding to something you made up, not what I'm saying. Are you in this conversation with me? Or your version of me....

And OH YEAH! The rip roaring Trump economy too, huh?:dunno::rofl2:

You think the Trumponomics works? Do you think it is sustainable? It is true that this current economy is absolutely fantastic for really rich people; but what about the rest of us?

You do understand that mostly it is only people in the upper half, and primarily in the upper .1% that are doing really well, right?

Sure. The Stock Market is up, but who owns much stock? Most available issues are owned by the rich. Upper middle class owns stock, but they don't really have very much of it, comparatively. The lower half of the nation owns pretty much NO stock. And they don't own much real estate, either, the primary wealth-generator for the middle class. They are getting left OUT. Rents are going up, food, gasoline. They can't save and get ahead. They are lucky if they are not in debt on student loan, buy here pay here, payday loan joint, or credit cards. They can't even DREAM of saving for a down payment on a house if they can't even get caught up with interest on money they already spent. How is our economy supposed to do any better than this if so many people are already so tapped OUT?

Lots of people are employed, sure, but what are they employed AT? Anybody who works just one hour per week is counted at employed, for that figure. Can you live on $7.25 a week? Most people struggle to make ends meet. 78% living paycheck to paycheck. Most can't put together $400 for an emergency if they need it. Student loan debt at all all time high. The federal deficit irresponsibly approaching a trillion and rising during a good economy. Putting off paying on the federal debt is just a fool in the white house buying a temporarily propped up feel-good economy that looks good on the surface but stinks under the top layer; and it's not sustainable.

Plenty of legal ramifications in Trump childish idea. You can move immigrants in detention to other places of detention, not just dump them off.
It is in violation of the Hatch act, using public employees for political purposes.
They are using government money without congressional approval. That is how the right-wing congress stopped Obama from closing Gitmo.
There is no power to force immigrants dropped off to stay where they are dropped. They would go elsewhere without tracking them.
The whole idea is just so stupid.
The local and state laws may prohibit such actions too.
