But Samsung, which has a market value of about $194 billion and annual sales of $179 billion, should be big and profitable enough to weather the loss of one model.

If they choose to suck money out of other divisions and use it to cover their mobile division's losses. Honestly, this could be the end of the mobile division.

Irreparable brand damage to the Galaxy and especially Note line. Expect there to never be another phone titled "Galaxy Note", they might reboot the entire line as something else. People are already asking questions about phones that don't even suffer from the bug, just because they know Samsung = bomb.

Doubt it, the Galaxy 8 is destined to be a real top seller!

The latest leaks point to a 4K screen, a mini projector, 6GB of RAM, a 30MP camera, an enormous battery and a supercharged processor. The S8 may also launch ahead of schedule and may ditch flat screens altogether, with comments by Samsung executives suggesting that all models will have curves, while sources claim the company has already started ordering curved panels in two sizes.

This combined with the suit Apple has against them for copying the look of the Iphone, that could cost them all profits made, Samsung is not having a very good week.
