Sanctuary Cities and FEMA

I wonder….

If the rationale behind shipping incarcerated illegal aliens to sanctuary cities is that the cities somehow “want” these individuals; wouldn’t the same rationale hold true for not sending government aid to red states that were affected by Hurricanes or other disasters? After all, they are for a strict reading of the Constitution which doesn’t include FEMA.

In truth cities and states do not feel one way or the other about things; the majority or perhaps merely a plurality of voters elected an official who feels a certain way about a topic. Applying a policy the entire city or state for the doctrine of the superintendent is idiotic and it is not a surprise that our President and his followers have climbed on board this most recent flirtation with stupidity.
