I wonder how she would run this had Keith and LL not spoken up?

Fox News has an unlikely adversary: rapper LL Cool J.

After the network announced that Sarah Palin would host a special Thursday called "Real American Stories" -- featuring interviews with LL Cool J, Toby Keith and other celebrities -- the rapper and country singer both hit back claiming they were lying.

"Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else & are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palins Show. WOW," he tweeted.

Likewise, Toby Keith never sat down with Sarah Palin, Keith's spokesman told HifFix. "We were never contacted by Fox," Keith's spokesman said. "I have no idea what interview it's taken from. They're promoting this like it's a brand new interview."

Fox News responded Wednesday morning, saying they would cut the footage of LL Cool J (aka James Todd Smith) from the special. Keith's old interview is still slated to run.

"Real American Stories features uplifting tales about overcoming adversity and we believe Mr. Smith's interview fit that criteria," a network spokesperson told TVNewser. "However, as it appears that Mr. Smith does not want to be associated with a program that could serve as an inspiration to others, we are cutting his interview from the special and wish him the best with his fledgling acting career."

Sarah can't think fast enough to interview live. It would be kinda embarrassing for her to keep looking at her hand for the questions. Now, leave Sarah alone.

To be fair, I don't think the Barracuda is responsible for Fox News lies. I imagine the Fox News promo department puts this crap together, and The Quitter isn't in the loop on that stuff.

However, this seems like a good career move for her. I've always seen her as being more capable of being a host interviewer on a cable infotainment program, than being in any sort of responsible public policy position.

Our vice presidents should be capable of winning Nobel Peace prizes, Academy Awards, and Emmy Awards.

Does it surprise anyone? Just another right wing, manipulative tactic.

They sold the interviews as if they were new and she had done them. Even die hard republican Toby Keith said she was promoting the interviews as if they were new.

Her name is on the show, if that was not their intent then they should not have pulled the interviews, but it is how they promoted the show on thursday on Faux.

This is just plain desperation on Soc's part. As FOX stated it was intended to portray: "Real American Stories featuring uplifting tales about overcoming adversity and we believe Mr. Smith's interview fit that criteria".

I mean how just plain aweful of FOX to want to say that Mr. Smith was acknowledged for his struggle and and his consequent success...badddd fox badddd sarah :eyeroll:

again, do you have video of this? i want to see this alleged lie.

do you also hold a president to a lie if his people say something about a speech or event and the same doesn't hold true? iow...did sarah actually have any authority over what fox said? if my secretary says something to a customer and its not true and i never directed her to say it...am i a liar?
