Saw AWESOME STREET ROD on my walk today!!!

NiftyNiblick

1960s Chick Magnet
Fully restored 1965 Checker Marathon coachwork, painted Cadillac Black Diamond TriCoat (same color as my '62 Corvette).

Art Morrison Max G custom aftermarket chassis.

7.3 liter Ford Super Duty crate engine, factory sequential multiport fuel injection.

10R140 transmission with campy Ford F250 column shifter.

Custom designed interior, all leather upholstery.

This was clearly a well into six figures build, not a DIY backyard project.

The owner seemed pleased that I could talk cars with him and appreciate the high end quality of the build.

Then the avatar peed on his left rear tire which, I believe, was a Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4.

I wonder if I can be the sole poster on my own thread.
It certainly wouldn't be the first time.

The Checker Marathon was last made in 1982, and we haven't had decent cabs since the last ones left the streets.
