Just remember, this is the sort of retarded stuff the Left does. Mao Tse Tung, arguably the evilest person to ever exist in history, ordered China in the 1960's to eliminate sparrows as part of the Four Pests Campaign. This resulted in a famine in which about 50 to 60 million people died. Then when the stupidity of this eradication effort became blatantly apparent, the Chinese paid Russia to import sparrows to replace the ones that were killed off.
Be it banning cats, killing sparrows, "climate change," or any of hundreds of other such stupidities by the Left, we should bitch slap those proposing this bullshit hard and repeatedly until they either learn the error of their ways, shut the fuck up, or end up dying from the beatings they've received. That may sound harsh, but a society of rational people shouldn't tolerate mass stupidity in the least.
