Screwing Bernie 2.0

The rule change, announced on Friday, removes the requirement for candidates to meet a minimum requirement of donors starting with the Feb. 19 debate in Nevada. It is being interpreted by the Sanders camp as yet another move by the DNC to elbow out the left-wing candidate who railed against a rigged primary system in the 2016 campaign.

"To now change the rules in the middle of the game to accommodate Mike Bloomberg, who is trying to buy his way into the Democratic nomination, is wrong. That’s the definition of a rigged system," Jeff Weaver, Sanders's senior adviser, said in a statement.

They’re doing it to Bernie, again.

I’m not a Democrat and Bernie Sanders in the WH would be an unmitigated disaster, but this is bullshit. The DNC ‘tweaking’ the rules to make room for Bloomberg to buy his way in after Bernie has been campaigning for months and raising grass roots money [you have to respect that].

The DNC is corrupt as hell. They’re also in clear danger of alienating young voters who are liable to sit out if Democrats nominate Biden.

What does it tell you that establishment Democrats would rather have Trump than a non-establishment president?

Well, Bernie does scare some people lol.

If you’re suggesting Trump is ‘establishment’ you’re bonkers. They loathe him—but it’s personal because of what [well, who actually] Trump represents. The establishment doesn’t like us Red state rubes having someone in the WH. We’re supposed to do as we’re told. But how do they not like Trump’s economy, stock market and tax package?

Poor Bernie. Can't stand the guy, but I'm beginning to pity this old socialist fart.

That's the lie that the establishment tells us. The truth is, red state rubes are useful idiots, and Trump is extremely establishment. Sure, he has no idea what he's doing, but his policies are establishment AF. Take away his mental illness and he's pretty much an average Republican.

Bernie scares the establishment because he would cause real change. Don't get me wrong, the Democrats would prefer a Democrat. But if they had to choose between an outsider and Trump, they're going to choose Trump.

The establishment is why the border issue has *festered* for two decades—both parties have profited from illegal immigration for different reasons.

Trump is no insider. An insider wouldn’t touch the IC with a ten foot pole but Trump did in spite of a clear warning from a leading establishment Democrat.

And we all saw what came next.

That's why Trump never really planned on building the wall. For the first two years of his presidency, Republicans controlled everything. No effort at all to build the wall. Then as soon as the Democrats got power back, and there was no chance of building the wall, Trump put up a fake effort so that he could get shot down.
There's a reason Republicans defend Trump relentlessly, even when he's obviously breaking the law. He's being a good puppet for the elites.

Huh?

Trump fought tooth and nail for wall funding. Democrats threatened to take him to court for using military funds for it. He also pressured Mexico to secure their southern border—only because no one was able to stop him.

No one in the establishment.

First the DNC crowds him out, in 2016 and then Pelosi makes it so he can't campaign.

I smell DNC collusion. :D

They wanted Obama 3.0 ... aka The Old Hillbag :dunno:

Now your Dem Media masters want Obama 4.0 ... aka Hairsniffer Joe.

Trump might be stupid, but he knows how the law works. He knew that by using military funds, he would appear to be fighting for the wall, but unable to actually use that method to build the wall.

He also used sanctions to destroy Venezuela in order to increase illegal immigration to America, much like Obama destroyed Libya to drive Libyans into Europe.

Like I said, the establishment Democrats would prefer a Democrat. But if the only Democrat who could win is Bernie, they'll screw him over, because they rather have Trump. At least Trump is an establishment puppet.

Simply repeating something over and over doesn’t make it true lol.

For the sake of discussion let me ask this question. A couple of people are trying to challenge Trump in the Republican Primary and the RNC and Trump are preventing them from getting on ballots in multiple states. On one hand it's totally understandable, most Republicans can't even name these challengers and it doesn't help Trump to have to run against them (plus he would crush them). But by preventing them from running its the ultimate establishment move by the RNC and Trump.

Is that really all that different than what the DNC is doing to Bernie?

trump is doing worse than that. trump has actually cancelled primary elections in several states. he will be "proclaimed" the winner in North Korean style. he was going to win the nomination anyway, but we should always have a vote just to be sure.

Sanders will run in every state, and there will be a vote (or a caucus) in every state.
