He was then asked about the Supreme Court ruling in Loving v. Virginia that banned states from enacting laws that restricted interracial marriages.

“When it comes to issues, you can’t have it both ways,” Braun responded. “When you want diversity to shine within our federal system, there are going to be rules and proceedings that are going to be out of sync, maybe, with what other states would do. It’s the beauty of the system.”

Long ago it was decided that all started would honor laws that some states have, such as marriage age. Some states are legal at 14 and others at 18. You could go on vacation and get charged for rape crossing state lines. Braun is quite ignorant.
The real point is to make interracial marriage illegal.
