Senate Judiciary Committee Republicans released a report Thursday following the conclusion of the committee’s investigation to determine if former President Donald Trump had pressured the Department of Justice (DOJ) to look into allegations of 2020 presidential election fraud in hopes of overturning the election.

Its conclusions go against Democrat claims that Trump tried to “weaponize” the Justice Department and coerce it to overturn the results of the election and said according to available facts and evidence, Trump had listened to his senior DOJ and White House advisers and that he did not weaponize the DOJ for his personal or campaign purposes.

Per the specious OP: It's not that #TRE45ON didn't TRY to weaponize it; there are several reports from a variety of DOJ employees, as well as Toadstool staffers, who have stated that #TRE45ON did everything he could to get the DOJ to overturn the election. All the way up to the head of the department, William Barr, who stated: "To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election.”
 
Wait. You mean Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and Josh Hawley are claiming that Trump didn't weaponize the DOJ?

Bullshit, the incident Grassley tried to frame in Trump’s behalf was but one incident covering the months after the election, and even there Grassley paints a different picture than what was revealed by those attending the meeting

We have documentation of Trump’s effort to pressure Barr, Barr’s own statements, Trump’s calls attempting to intimidate State election officials, and Trump’s intent on replacing Rosen

Trump’s order to Rosen back in late December to “just say that the election was corrupt and leave the rest to me and the Republican”Congressmen,” doesn’t sound like Trump was “just listening” as you would like to believe
