Looking over RCP I see an analysis of 44 Dem 8 Tossup and 48 Repubs......

granted some states are still in the primary stage and there are very few polls yet, but can it be that the Repubs are poised to increase their lead in the Senate to 54?......they may pick up three instead of only two as I previously predicted.....

They should the Democrats are defending twenty four seats, but the real contest will be in the House, GOP loses that and Trump is in trouble, imagine all these "investigating" Committees headed by Adam Schiff with eight years of payback due?

8 years? They started investigated Hillary when Bill was in office and never stopped. I do not know which Righty figured out that investigating her over and over would make low information voters distrust her. But an example was Rep. mccarthy ,who said the Benghazi investigations were designed to drive down her poll numbers. This has been political theater from the beginning and continued til we wound up with daffy. We have had coirrupt admins in the past, but Trump is raising that bar to new levels.
