Republican senators who were silent about President Trump's need to concede to Joe Biden are becoming more vocal.

Sen. Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia is the latest Republican senator to say Trump should acknowledge Biden won the election and that the transition process should begin. Including intelligence and COVID-19 briefings for President-elect Biden, the former vice president and 36-year Delaware senator, and his running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris of California.

Capito is the latest Republican lawmaker to pressure Trump into conceding the race, which has been called by numerous news outlets, including the Washington Examiner.

On Sunday night, Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski made a similar call.

i don't know how there are any republicans left in this useless, chickenshit, non-fact based party. how can anybody be on board with how republican congressmen and trump have acted the last 4 years?

I think that tRump simply allowed many of them to "come out of the closet".
The Republican party has long been racist. Just not quite this open about it.

He gave permission for haters and bigots to act out in public. There is an army of Karens getting in people's faces. They are not even embarrassed.
 
Keep in mind, Trump did get seventy six million votes, he is still, and will be, a major player in the GOP, and for this reason those in the GOP aren't going to break with him especially since he has the reputation for being vindictive
