Sessions behavior

Why is Sessions staying, and why hasn't Trump fired him? He literally makes fun of him like a 5th grader, and even as conservative as he is, Sessions has not folded to Trump pressure. I bet there is much more to this story. Anyone else think Sessions knows Trump isn't long for the POTUS and the conservatives want Jeff to be in place when Pence takes over?

I agree there is something their. Especially considering the story about him having resigned. As we know, Sessions is close with the Senate, he is likely staying because the Republican senators know his departure would be a disaster and they have asked him to stay.

Why would Trump want to give the Democrats ammunition for an impeachment? They'd impeach him claiming he fired Sessions because he wouldn't stop the Muller witch hunt. If the witch hunt ever ends and Republicans retain the Senate Trump would have an opening to fire Sessions provided Republican Senators would back him up and approve a replacement. Sessions has allies and buddies in the Senate. Trump has no reason to piss them off at this point. I think he should fire Rosenstein but it's the same deal, Sessions say's he'd resign if Trump fires Rosenstein. I think the bastards in the Justice Department all have something on each other. I think that's how they got Sessions to recuse himself. They know a skeleton in Session's closet.

Just sayin, just supposen! I have no evidence, just suspicions.

I am still surprised Trump has enough self control to not fire him. Kinda like he didn't mention that strippers name for months.

Claim? Daffy has said that many times. Also claimed Sessions should not have taken the job that trump offered if he was going to recuse. there was no investigation when he took the job. Daffy makes shit up and sells it to those who like the taste.

Sessions has coveted that job his entire adult life. No way he gives it up to keep Donny happy.

Sessions was a joke in the Senate too. He was a good old boy who followed orders. When Bush nominated his secretary ,Meiers ,to the Supremes, they sent Jeffy out to talk about her. He said she was the single most qualified person in the country for the seat. While he was pushing her, they were in the back room taking her nomination back. they did not care that he was out there playing the fool, it was just Jeffy.
