Sexual revolution leaving diseased minds and bodies in its wake

There was a time in America when a physician had just two or three young adult patients with sexually transmitted diseases. In 2013 that number has become two or three dozen and is increasing as “hooking up” turns out to be a deadly sexual game.

The participants in the sexual revolution may be paying a price that is so high and fraught with disappointment and disease that it may turn into a continuing nightmare for those caught up in it.

Well I agree and disagree with this article. For one the idea of having sex without considering the consequences has alsways been ongoing, but I tend to think its not necessarily the sex revolution per say, I think its mostly about the lack of awareness (both intentional and unintentional) in relationship with drug use. Drug use plays a heavy part in the college life, and I believe with drug use along with the age level of students I think you most likely will run into this problem. Free sexual expression is a good thing but I also think if this freedom is drowned out in a bottle of Jack Daniels you will have a receipe for disaster.
