A lot of info is known about Brennan’s track record. So I never believed he was just plain stupid. He had to impress a whole lot of Democrats, as well as con more than a few Republicans, for him to run the CIA for 4 years.
I cannot believe that an average bumpkin like me was the only who saw the real John Brennan. His reputation and résumé was pockmarked with road signs for the well-informed:

An article by George Neumayr basically recapped Brennan’s treachery:

This comes as no surprise:
The president announced in August that Brennan's security clearance was being stripped due to "erratic behavior" that disqualified him from having access to sensitive information.
But the White House never followed through with the complicated bureaucratic process of revocation, a source told the New York Times.
A CIA spokesperson declined to comment, telling the Washington Examiner the agency does not discuss individual security clearances. The White House did not immediately return a request for comment.

XXXXX
Republican allies of Trump say information could soon come out that will show misconduct by Brennan and other former Obama administration leaders.
Although it was widely believed he had lost his clearance, Brennan has on occasion visited Capitol Hill to brief Democrats on national security matters.

I have trouble understanding how a conservative can trust a bullshit salesmen who comes from the Bullshit Capital of the world. Trump’s pals on Wall Street even put up a monument telling the suckers that hustling salesmen are bullshit artists:
I pegged Donald Trump as a bullshit artist decades before he sold himself as presidential timber:
Everybody who drove through that intersection traveling north on Rt. 17, and west or east on Rt, 4 could not help but see the 200 x 50 ft. ugliest piece of “art” I ever saw:
Some years ago Trump purchased a stake in Alexander’s Department Store Chain. If memory serves me right, Trump tried to get a million bucks for the mural when the building was torn down. My memory also tells me Trump could not sell that piece of crap for any price.
I know that the 280 panels were stored in a Carlstadt, N.J. warehouse for a number of years. Where is it now? Here is an update:
For decades, a 200-foot-long mural made of enameled steel served as a landmark for drivers at the intersection of routes 4 and 17 in Paramus. Some adored its colossal smears of red and blue. Others called it an eyesore.
Either way, starting in the 1960s, the 250-ton marvel of postwar expressionism from Polish artist Stefan Knapp stood as a bold splash of color on the facade of Alexander's department store. But after the retail giant went out of business in the early 1990s, the mural came down, too.
More than 15 years later, the mural sat in storage, disassembled into 280 panels.

I mentioned the mural story about The Donald because it is an insight into the way salesmen do business. I only pray that Trump does not dump that piece of crap on the Smithsonian now that he is president. There is already enough junk in Washington.
NOTE: Trump could have hung that monstrosity on one of his buildings. Hell, he could have been put it up vertically and nobody would have known the difference.
Trump has long record of taking credit for things he never actually does. Remember when he backed down on this one?
Before then-President-elect Donald Trump’s moved into the White House his team said they could kick the press corps out of the building. Frankly, I was partial to the Old Executive Office Building when the story broke.

More important than rolling over for the press corps, the bullshit artist did not have the courage to fire all of those Clinton and Obama holdovers. Many of them will still be there throughout Trump’s second term —— if he gets one.
And I sure as hell do not believe anything Trump says as commander in chief. He said he was going to pull our troops out of Afghanistan until the United Nations told him to forget it:
If Trump had the nerve he would stay in Syria, standup to the United Nations and pull our troops out of Afghanistan. Make no mistake about this country’s longest war —— 2001 to ? —— the war in Afghanistan is a United Nations war.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Security_Council_Resolution_1386
Regardless of how long the war lasts, or how many Americans die fighting for the United Nations, the New World Order crowd will never allow the U.N. to take the blame for a defeat.

Finally, Trump spends too much time at campaign rallies selling the same line of bullshit to the faithful who already bought the B.S. My greatest fear is that Trump will try to bullshit a foreign enemy instead of learning foreign policy from Tuco Ramirez:
