It couldn't be more obvious that neither of the major sides gives a fat flying fuck what the other has to say.
After a few exchanges with a mutant from the Reichnut side, I generally get bored and put the offender on "ignore."
Gradually, in time, I don't see anything from their side at all.

Then, periodically, I release the penalty box in a grand gesture of good will,
but obviously,
it doesn't take very long to start filling it up again.
We're dealing with mutants, here. What else is there to do?

To this day, DC has been unable to force an entirely different culture to swear allegiance to an ever growing centralized power. I don't know why, but for some reason I don't get many responses to my comments from those I consider to be from my side of the aisle.

But for just about every comment in response to mine comes from those I consider to be from the other side of the aisle- and normally it comes in the form of a nasty personal insult, without offering even a counterpoint to my opinion. I am getting to where I don't even respond to such hateful comments because I just ignore them now.

I do get my fair share of "THANKS" replies, SO I'M GOOD just to know that others agree with me on a lot of matters. I did the math and I get a "THANKS" response to about 1 out of every 2.7 posts i MAKE SO I'M HAPPY WITH THOSE and i do appreciate the many thanks I have received.

BTW, most of the GROANS I receive all came from 1 poster- EARL! As he used to GROAN every one of my posts just for fun I suppose. For weeks he would just groan my posts automatically!

I keep looking for the reason behind their ideology. Their "facts" are clearly made up, when they even care enough to give "facts". More often it is just insults. It is getting to the point that it is just pointless trying to deal with them.

Not quite sure what America will do. They are dragging down our prosperity and life expectancy, at a time both should be soaring.

The Civil War ended slavery. The culture war ended de facto slavery. Blacks and whites did not get the right to marry until 1967. Homosexuals did not get the right to marry until 2015. There is progress being made, but it is slower than we would want. We could just surrender Americans to slavery, but that is not the country I want to be part of.
