Should the Surviving Marathon Bomber be Executed???

Massachusetts does not have a death penalty, so if this last surviving Marathon Bomber is tried by the State, as a "basic" murderer, then he cannot be executed. If the Feds try him as a Terrorist, then he can be executed if found guilty, daaa. Geraldo Rivera and Bill O'reilly, both against the death penalty, say that in this case, the 19 year old surviving Bomber should get the death penalty. What say you?

Also, two years ago, the FBI questioned the older Brother about having radical Islamic beliefs and was found to have them. My other question to you is why wasn't his photo placed into that photo facial scanning alert software program bank that the Feds have and then they could have scanned the crowds at the Boston Marathon? They talk all the time about how well this technology works, he was wearing glasses, but I heard that it still works. At least a red flag would have popped up and they then could have searched his backpack, just an afterthought.

That incompetent big talking(BS) Mass. Governor was lucky that the man who lifted that flapping tarp on his backyard boat was not shot by that surviving bomber, who was apparently sleeping from the loss of blood. That Mass. Governor gave the premature all-clear and told everyone that they could come outside of their homes, what a blunder. PROOF: When the cops came and woke him up, he did shoot back at them.

No. And as a conservative, you should agree with me. In MA, there is no death penalty - and they should have the right to prohibit that practice, which they do. But, as Mott pointed out, the scale of this is not yet known - but, even so, I oppose his execution.

He will most likely be tried in Federal Court. Not Commonwealth court.

As far as the death penalty? I don't care one way or the other.

People were free to leave their homes at anytime during the ordeal, in fact, many did. It was an advisory to people, nothing more.

The person who inspected his boat did so at his own risk. I am glad they did, and they may have had a gun with them to do so. We not have these small details, but thanks to the 24 hour news, you may soon find out what type of underwear they had on at the time.

Murder is also a violation of US Code and is punishable by death.

The feds should try him go for the death penalty.

I don't believe that's been determined yet Grind. If the brothers acted alone, then I think this would be purely a criminal case. In that case the State of MA would have jurisdiction. Now if this was a conspiracy that crossed either State or International boundries then it becomes a Federal matter. I say if this is a criminal matter let the State of MA have it's pound of flesh first. The majority of the people hurt or killed were Boston and MA residents. I'd like to see the State of MA prosecute his ass first. If he's going to meet justice, I'd like to see it at the hands of the people of MA. Give the Feds sloppy seconds.
 
It was reported that he might be tried in Federal Court; but he'll never be sentenced to death.
Oh-they're going to go for the death penalty; because he can be charged with 5 counts of murder, 180+ counts of causing injury, and probably over a 1000 counts of attempted murder, but in an effort to get information from him they'll plea bargain instead and we the people will have to pay to keep him in PC, with a 24 hour suicide watch.
Since he's 19, we could be looking at this being around for the next 50+ years.
