The PoliTalker Pick of the Week:
Others made me laugh more, but this one said something stirring. Some wish he would just go away, others want him dead. The most important thing is that he is held accountable for at least some of his crimes. That is how he needs to be recorded in history - as a crook. Anything less and future Republicans are going to name all kinds of things after him - like they did with Reagan (Who wasn't really that great.)
The last thing I want to see is young people going to Trump School, down Trump highway, over Trump bridge, past Trump Airport to learn about some kind of backwards history in which Trump is some kind of hero to the nation. Nor do I ever want a US Navy ship to be called that, either. The end of this saga needs to be one of total shame to properly reflect the reality of the giant mistake America made on him.
The story should serve as a wake up call to protect our democracy and Constitution. And to exemplify the importance of having an education system which teaches people to recognize the difference between fiction and fact.
