So, I performed an experiment

This morning on the first page of Current Events are some 20 threads started by the same member. He or she is assuming effective ownership of the site.

Put a stop to this.

Why?

I just looked at the Current Events forum, and I saw a couple of threads started by Lionfish.

I then placed Lionfish "on ignore" and refreshed the Current Events forum.

Like magic, I saw no threads authored by Lionfish.

You can put the folks you dislike on ignore, you know that right?

It's occured to me;

Since Daddy Damocles told the folks that complained about Butch Uncle's malevolent manipulation of Notifications to harass people to put him on ignore...

Why can't the people complaining that I start too many threads take the same advice?

I suspect some folks need to take a look at the options they have open to them.
