General Motors disclosed that new CEO Mary Barra's compensation this year will be $14.4 million.


That's 58% more than the $9.1 million total compensation of her predecessor, Dan Akerson, who retired in January.

I'll bet those women who have been fighting for equal pay for equal work and equal opportunity for advancement for all those years are glad the glass ceiling is not shattered and that they'll be getting that equal pay any day now.
