The former head of the Social Security Administration warns that proposed cuts to the agency could lead the entire system to “collapse,” disrupting benefits payments to millions of Americans.

“Ultimately, you’re going to see the system collapse, and there will be an interruption of benefits,” Martin O’Malley, former Social Security commissioner under the Biden administration, told CNBC. “I think that will happen within the next 30 to 90 days.”

That's why he is an EX HEAD fo the Social Security.

Maybe that will get maga attention. Nothing else has, except the right wing talking heads. Wonder how this will be explained as: 'OK; Biden is worse.' Will we see more people begging on the street?

There would be no check interruptions if Harris was president.

As hungry retired magas beg on the street, they will have a new use for their red hats - holding them out upside down for hand-outs. Make America beg again.
Cheering the death and economic harm to millions of Americans and their families...again.

There will be all kind of lawsuits if those social security checks are stopped or late?!! The Trump administration already has dozens of lawsuits pending from federal workers and others?!!

Social Security is paid by present day workers. Their checks are taxed to make the pool. Social Security can never go broke unless work in America stops. If the money collected does not meet the full outlay required, the checks will be smaller. Trump is trying to starve it out of workers. Social Security is run on under 1 percent of revenue. It has never missed a check in over 80 years. But we never had a president before who wanted to sabotage it.

Who is " Cheering the death and economic harm to millions of Americans and their families...again. " ?
Nobody I see,
Have you ever thought( OH sorry I asked that question we all know you don't think ) just maybe some of the left leaning people on here are trying to point out to you and all the other stupid MAGAS on here that It is President Musk and his little buddy Trump that are taking it apart , and are the ones doing the harm to the American people.
They are taking a lot of the government agencies apart using a bulldozer when a small knife would do the job.
And YES we all know there is waste and fraud happening and we want it stopped but again you don't go taking things apart first BEFORE you find where the waste and fraud are you find the waste and fraud FIRST then cut it.

It doesn't take that many people to send out checks... That's why they weren't let go... There won't be any pause In Existing benefits... And for new applicants It's just going to require the people who remain in the offices to work...
Indeed, TOP.

New benefits will be handled by new employees.
