it seems that someone thought up a way around the congressional amount SNAP legislation reduced food assistance to the poor and spread the word.

this decision to reduce by close to $8,000,000,000 from food assistance for the poor was a highlight of the repug budget cuts

By going around the federal law, these governors are infuriating some in Congress, including a number of members who tend to be fierce champions of “states’ rights” when it comes to other issues.

since when do we believe "state's rights" include the power to obligate the federal government to spend money that it did not approve?.....Congress should reduce state aid to each of those states in proportion to what they have made the federal government fork over in UNNEEDED food assistance to the faux poor......
