Some historical perspective

In 2009, and again in 2015, a deadly pandemic swept the nation.

Thousands of Americans died, and many more suffered infection and illness.

Yet I was unable to locate a single JPP leftist commenting negatively on the activities of the POTUS and FLOTUS during that dark period in US history.

Here are just a few of the things the Obamas were up to while Americans suffered and died:

I'm not saying that the Obamas were evil because they did the things that all First Couples tend to do.

I'm pointing out that JPP liberals don't seem to have posted multiple threads accusing them of insensitivity for overseeing upgrades to the White House or vacationing while a health crisis occurred.

Leftist lies during a national crisis are nothing new.

In 1928, a destructive hurricane devastated South Florida.

What did leftists do?

They lied.

An organization calling itself the "Negro Workers Relief Committee" claimed that Black hurricane victims were being discriminated against by racist white Republicans. They claimed that many prominent civil rights advocates were affiliated with them, and the news media of the time rushed to spread the story.

They claimed that famed author W.E.B. Du Bois was part of their organization.

But it was soon discovered that Du Bois had no affiliation with the "Negro Workers Relief Committee" at all, and in fact had asked therm to stop lying.

Renowned civil rights activist Mary McLeod Bethune visited the storm-torn region and discovered that the tale of racial discrimination was false. She reported that she "detected no discrimination whatever" in the relief efforts, "but rather an enthusiastic desire" to help everyone who needed assistance.

Du Bois had to demand that the "Negro Workers Relief Committee" stop using his name to spread misinformation.

It was later discovered that the "Negro Workers Relief Committee" was connected to the American Communist Party.

Not much has changed, has it?

I have heard that the N1H1 flu is not really any worse than a regular flu.... Infact some reputable sources have told me its not as bad as a regular flu.
Why the hype? What is it about this flu that sets it apart from other flu's?
