Some Information on the Amnesty Bill...

I can't watch this now, because I'm at work. But the bill is dead anyway. What fascinated me is, polls showed that a comfortable majority of Americans really had no problem with the bill. But, the R base killed it anyway, screaming and pitching fits. How did they do that? That's what I want to know. We have a war that a comfortable majority of Americans believe was a mistake and want winded down and ended. Yet, we are esculating it.
Here, the reverse was true, they had a minority. But they killed it. How do those bastards do it? I think it has to be because the R's will not piss off their base, but the D's are constantly happy to spit in our face, because hey, where we gonna go? Yet, the R base has nowhere to go either, but it's not looked at that way by the R politicians.

Actually the newer polls showed it losing support quickly, as people learned what z-visas were and how not even the smartest of senators were able to really explain the bill it lost support.
Here, Darla, the thought was it was popular among americans, but it simply lost all support. Senators were being inundated by calls to end the "scamnesty"..

Hmm. I never saw a poll showing anywhere near those kind of numbers before this.

That's because there is a lefty lean to mainstream media...
Yeah right. If all other polling organizations show a majority of Americans support something, and only Rasmussen shows something else, who is under suspicion? Maybe the other polls were moving down, I don't know. But I know of no other numbers like this one.

Check again on realclearpolitics... You will find that it was the same accross the board. You were misled by polls with leading questions.
I've been thinking about applying for illegal status so that I can get my tickets cleared when I don't show up for court. I'll just get another fake license....
