Arguing politics, centered on Trump over the last 4 years, and especially as this election approaches, I see people are confused about the primary issue here. Most of you on the Trump-train seem to think this is Liberals/Conservatives war. It's not, other than Trumpsters trying to make it into one, because they have nothing left to defend concerning Trump.

This is not a Right vs Left, Conservative/Republican vs Liberal/Democrat issue. That was the debate when Obama, Bush, and Clinton were presidents. Those debates were very much about policies and philosophies on both sides. That's not what this is.

This is people who love this country and what it is supposed to stand for, where this country is supposed to be in the world and protecting our form of democracy, our constitution, regaining our leadership in the world arena and mostly protecting our people, ALL of our people vs the corrupt and destructive Donald Trump administration and his cult of followers. This is a coup.

The Constitution says all Americans, all people are created equal. No matter the color of our skin, or religion, or our sexual preferences. From Evangelicals to Millenials. ALL citizens fall under the guidelines of the US Constitution and the Trump administration has violated the distinct trait that separates us from the rest of the world; our Freedom.

Trump supporters seemed to have forgotten that Trump is not, nor has ever been a Republican. In fact, Trump, as an admitted Democrat has donated millions of dollars to Democrats, including Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer. The only reason that he ran as a Republican is that he knew it was the easy road to get the nomination.

Now after almost 4 years of corruption, pushing conspiracy theories, lying, favoritism, perjury, indictments, divisiveness, coddling our enemies, allowing soldiers to be killed for bounty money, abuse of power, abuse of office, nepotism, abuse of emoluments, constitutional violations, attacking American institutions, our allies and now attacking American companies, the debate is no longer Democrats vs Republicans. It's people who want our country back vs Donald Trump and his MAGATS.

And as often as his supporters choose the wrong side of every issue, I expect they'll choose the wrong side of this issue when he loses in November.

Once Trump is out, then the typical Right vs Left can ensue, but for now, all focus is on Trump and his cultists.

And you know who you are.
 
Trump is an opportunist, He was a Democrat in NYC when it was cool and when everyone else was.

He became a Repug because he knows their voters are easily food and are usually swayed by just one issue like Religion, guns, abortion and racism.

He is a con man grifter who does not care about helping Americans he only wants to help himself and the rich, he is a true Republican.

It is such a cult.

The most flagrant members of the cult are simply messed up in the head. They are the deplorable haters, who take pleasure in seeing others suffer. They have psychological issues. They are anti-social. They think socialism is the worst thing on Earth, even though it is responsible for raising the standard of living all over the world by almost completely eliminating destitution wherever government safety nets exist. The anti-social cult members rail against socialism. Even though most of them will one day be very thankful for Social Security and Medicare.

The rest of the cult have been taken in.

They have allowed propaganda to cloud their thinking.

They bought in to all the garbage on Hillary and were so against Hillary that they sort of glazed over when considering Trump and decided that ANYBODY would be better than Hillary. They failed to properly vet Trump and have ignored the serious mistake.

And a lot of these people do not like to admit it when they are wrong.

So they have stuck with Trump and clung to him.

No matter what.

Like frogs being boiled slowly, they have been forced to accept one deplorable thing after another, straw after straw being added to the back of the camel.

Some of them have broken, but most remain steadfastly in support of DT.

And it's so sad. It's sad to see so much of America supporting this horrible man.

I am hopeful that the horrors of Trump have motivated enough people to support Joe Biden that he will win.

America needs closure from this hateful disgusting man. We need to move past this, put it in our past. It needs to be a lesson we can learn from.

So we can recover, and make our country better.

First, are they strong enough to stand for basic American values and concepts like having elected leaders and respecting the will of the people, respecting the checks and balances established by the Constitution, respecting that nobody is above the law.....

this election is about globalization in general and china policy in particular. dems want technocratic surveillance state tyranny, and to trust the fates of americans to the whims of multinational corporations who don't give a shit. trump represents sensible trade policy using all the traditional tools that globalists try to pretend never existed, like basic tariffs.

No its about a president who seeks to undermine the checks and balances on an executive seeking more and more power. Its about the selfish destruction of law and order for the powerful. Its about the importance of having a leader who is truthful with the people. It is about being led by one of the people and not someone who puts himself above the people.
