Some people are gay

That's just the deal. Some people are born gay. Anyone who thinks we can "choose" what sex we're attracted to doesn't understand the nature of attraction.

Some are also born believing that they are in the wrong body for their gender.

It's not a "sin." And even if you think it is and cite one line from a huge document to back that up, aren't we all "sinners?" Why don't you cite the passages about adultery & lying also? Why the focus on homosexuality?

The reason we have things like "pride" month are because the LGBTQ community has been made to feel like they are "less" or even evil by so many, every day, for their entire existence. I don't think some understand what some of their lives are like, & being subject to hate, bullying and discrimination on a regular basis.

Life is hard enough. We need to support each other - not find ways to ostracize good people, and put hate out into the world for no reason.

No one cares.

Why do LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ's insist that everyone else be forced to celebrate their genitalia preferences and self mutilations?

There was an entire decade of the late 19th Century called "The Gay Nineties,"
and yet we're still trying to sort it out now.

Some things, it appears, are seriously difficult to figure out.

As for putting hate out into world, if one is born as a hater, genetically,
is one any more responsible for that particular accident of birth?

I have no animosity toward the homosexual community, as it turns out, ,
but that's not my particular wiring oddity.

There are plenty of people of different descriptions
that seem fairly natural for me to hate.

Am I responsible for having been born a hater? Why?

Hate the sin, not the sinner.

Hate the sin, not the sinner.

The final arbiter of morality is the Bible and has been for a long time, for most people...2000 years plus or minus.

The Bible says that homosexuality is a sin...and other perversions too.

Those who live without a set value of morality are violating God's commands and will pay a price. Two cities already have.

They can't, though.

Attraction is a very basic thing. People don't choose who they're attracted to.
Sure they can

Like drinking coffee

Most don’t like it at first but drink it enough and you start to love it

Exposure can often create fondness

A person conducting a gay lifestyle could easily come to prefer it even if they weren’t gay to start with

The only way that you could know this is, if you are gay.

Are you gay?

There was a little boy with curly hair in our first grade. The little girls swooned over him. He swooned over them. He dated girls through high school.

He was found to be living a gay lifestyle later, as an adult. He died of HIV in his forties.

Tell me he was born a homosexual. He was not.

See, the thing is - you guys hate the sinner, too.

It's all over this board.

I just caught that last line.

What do you mean "two cities already have?"
