Some Republicans' enduring shame.

Congresswoman Liz Cheney got it right when she told her Republican colleges “who are defending the indefensible. There will come a day when Donald Trump will be gone, but your dishonor will remain”.

If I were a Wyoming Democrat more or less conservative than the congress lady, or much more to the lady's left, I would register and vote as a Republican in Wyoming's primary elections of August.

I'm unaffiliated, because the Democratic Party has drifting from populism. Ideally I'd prefer Donald Trump to be refuted by the majority of Republicans. I do not believe USA voters or their electors within the Electoral College will as they did in 2016, elect Donald Trump as our president. In 2020 they corrected their error.
A criminally seditous candidate nominated for the presidency would be greatly detrimental to our nation; Cheney's allegiance to first our nation rather than her party should be recognized.

Liz Cheney and Thompson did a great job last night. They kept the hearings at a non-partisan level...which is essential to getting done what must be done.

I hope when the others get involved...they keep things at this same tone.

I recognize her leadership now but cannot forget:

She was a promoter of those unnecessary wars in the Mideast.

She enabled the birther movement during Obama.

She's doing a great job at the hearings, but I really don't care what happens to her after that. Before these hearings, she was a part of the problem for years.

And yet... the trumpanzees are claiming this is a partisan witch hunt. They're going to do it anyway. The committee should get partisan to meet the expectations of the cult!!!

Let the Trump supporters do what they must in order to come to terms with their traitorous president...and their traitorous support of him.

I want to see the committee hearings remain non-partisan. The committee owes that to the two Republicans with the integrity and strength of honor to join them in what must be done.

I was kind of venting. I agree the committee is just presenting the facts. I heard comparisons to lawyers' opening statements at court trials.

Nope, I agree.. keep it "just the facts". Let the cult throw darts at it. They are going to do it regardless. I found it hilarious Fox didn't air ads on Tucker to keep viewers from seeing the committee's presentation :)

Everything that they said was backed up by credible evidence, too. What a shame that half the country will disregard the hearings and continue believing The Big Lie.
