Someone shot someone

CHICAGO) (WLS) -- One person is dead and five others wounded after a shooting inside a South Side store Thursday night, police said.

Authorities say two men walked into a convenience store in the 1400 block of West 79th Street at about 6 p.m. and shot six people. All of the victims are between 18 and 25 years old.

A 22-year-old man is dead, four are critical and one is in good condition.

Police say the gunmen drove away in a silver SUV.

Neighborhood pastor Londale McNeal says he saw a suspicious car outside the store and two masked men.

"I heard about 10-12 shots, and when I looked back I saw a gray vehicle sitting in front of the store, here and we see two guys jump into the car and speed off," said McNeal.

He ran inside after the car drove off.

"Some were on the floor, the other ones were scattering, trying to get out of the store. Because they were shot when I went in," McNeal said.

Pastor McNeal says he knew all of the victims and believes the shooting may have been gang-related.
