Where are all the commercials and TV spots/news coverage telling people how to boost their immune systems via vitamin and mineral supplements from the local health store/vitamin shop?

As it stands, you get tested, and if you are positive and get sick, you go to the hospital....usually they give you saline and glucose IV as SOP. If you get worse, they put you on the ventilators.....but what else are they doing? What do they tell the folk who over come the symptoms and are discharged? the people who are positive and not "sick" yet?

I saw only 1 feature news blip about vitamins....zinc and vitamin C were mentioned. That was about 2 weeks ago. Why? :thinking:

it might be if its not OKed by the FDA its not legal to advertise,,,

the fact its been proven over centuries is irrelevant,,,

Now go back and read my previous link from the Mayo Clinic (no slouches, to be sure). It lays out what foods should be in your daily diet, then it reviews the DAILY REQUIREMENT to remain healthy. However, the vast majority of Americans either don't eat this way or cannot afford some of the foods on a daily basis. This is where supplements come into play....and no, they are not "pissed away" in general as you allude to, as your own link points out that EXCESSIVE amounts can do damage.

Essentially, you exaggerate a point that your own link does not wholly support. It points to a singular reliance on supplements and the dangers of improper dosage. My link points to what can be taken in conjunction with a proper diet, or when one is not available. The OP stands valid, as to date all we get from the "official" sources is that patients are taken in and monitored....no real information as to any treatment beyond a ventilator when the patient goes critical.

There is always that threat when any catastrophe occurs in this country. Thus we must put our differences aside and meet the challenge...as the price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

Not sure what "preppers (survivalists)" you're referring to unless this is one of those confession is good for the soul attempts in a missing chronological recap of Christian Nation survival of the fittest fascists problems in American politics; where coronavirus sociopsychopathilogical human farming is about as absurd as 9/11 just being churchstate business as usual.

What eternal vigilance as the malfeasance has contributed to this COVID 19 catastrophe since there was COVID 1 thru COVID 18 freedom before COVID 19 ?
