The Washington Times, one of the nation’s largest conservative publications, blistered Donald Trump Tuesday with a commentary whose headline speaks for itself:

“Sorry, Donald, Republicans just don’t want you in 2024.”

Columnist Joseph Curl cited recent USA Today polling showing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis with a 13-point lead over Trump among Republicans as their choice for president in 2024. It noted that the poll showed that “61% of Republicans want someone other than Mr. Trump next time around. Here’s the weird thing: They want someone like him, just not him.”

Curl, who also writes for the far-right Daily Wire, didn’t stop with the poll numbers. He also cited the betting website Empire Stakes, which showed that Trump’s likelihood of getting elected in 2024 had dropped to 20 percent – below both DeSantis and President Joe Biden.

And there was this:

“Since he entered the race, Mr. Trump has acted like a candidate who really does not want the job (think former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani). Mr. Trump dined with the rapper Ye, formerly Kanye West — who later went on a lengthy antisemitic rant — and white supremacist Nick Fuentes at Mar-a-Lago. He called for the suspension of the Constitution. And he lost several legal maneuvers over his possession of allegedly classified documents.

True. So? But if I have to choose between trump or that racist child groping idiot you elected, it's no choice

You don't get to speak for all Republicans. You only get to speak for yourself. Trump never called for dissolving or suspending the Constitution. Trump never had any classified documents.

If you were smarter, then you'd realize the choice is Team Crazy with Trump or Team Normal with DeSantis.

DeSantis is kicking Pedo Don's fat ass which is why Trump came up with the trading card scheme to collect money from foreign powers like Russia, North Korea and China.

Not true.Biden is the front runner . Trump could not win a poll on this board. His Whitehouse criminalling turned off the people who can think.

Then the Democrats are truly fucked in 2024. Right now over 50% of Democrats and about 80% of Republicans and Independents don't want Biden running and wouldn't vote for him.

A remarkable number of people don’t want Joe Biden to run again

He's literally as unpopular for 2024 as Trump is. Both parties need new blood as their presidential candidate.

I couldn't give a shit about somebody's numbers.

Yea, sure. You'd be cheering and saying how the polls support Biden if that were the case, but it's not. Biden is unpopular and a boat anchor to the Democrats. He runs in 2024 against a fresh Republican candidate--not Trump--and he's pretty certain to lose. He probably could beat Trump, but I doubt Trump will be the Republican candidate.

Got it. You hate Democrats.
