SOS SoMad SOS

As much as I dislike his politics, I hope he is alright. Been down off St. John and St. Thomas and that direction. Those folks got hit hard.
Hey Sailor, did you hear about that guy who rode the storm out in Key West on a BOAT? I thought about you when I saw it.....

Thank you for the kind words both fellow libs and Trumptards. ;) :tongout:

I am doing fine. No damage to my home other than lots of tree branches and a few limbs down.

Power was back on Tuesday morning but as of yet, my internet is still down.

Been coming to a local hospital every morning to sit in the lobby and take care of internet stuff via their guest WiFi.

Contacted my isp tech support yesterday via online chat and was told it would be back up by now.

Guess they've been instructed to tell us anything to make us happy.

Hopefully I'll be back online soon.

Hope everyone else is doing well too.

That was one wild bitch of a storm!!! The wind was INSANE!!!! :whoa:

Great news! It looked like a helluva storm

Just got my internet back up and running.

No more getting in the car and driving to use public wifi.

Will be back causing headaches and making trouble for the Trumptards around here again soon. :good4u:

It was sheer insanity.

How there wasn't more damage around here, I do not understand.

The wind was blasting these howling gusts that had to be well over 100mph.

And it lasted for a good 16 hours or more!!!! :whoa:

I have no idea how the roofs stayed in all the houses around here.

Thanking God and the powers that be for coming through it unscathed.

Yep, it was well over 12 hrs. We were instructed to go inside by noon on Sat. The winds got going Sunday after 6 pm and didn't abate until after 2 or 3 pm Monday.

Now there are 2 more disturbances in the Atlantic. God help us all.
