Tell me about it, I just got back. You can't get a decent portion of fresh vegetables in most restaurants.

You get fried triggersish or flounder or oysters, with a giant side of fries and a little cup of coleslaw that tastes like sugar.

I went to the grocery to make a vegetable stir fry dinner and a lady asked me what to do with the ginger I purchased. She had no idea what to do with it.
You know how hard it is to locate a decent wok in the low country?

Basically you have to do a saturated fat detox, day for day, after you leave the place.

Having lived in 4 countries and visited 25 or so more, I can attest to the fact that the South has the best food in the world.
