A Mississippi man was walking near his home when he discovered two puppies trapped inside a glass aquarium with the lid sealed shut.
Matt Williamson was looking for his dog in the woods near his home when he stumbled upon the two puppies, WAPT-TV reported. Williamson said brown and white puppies were trapped inside of an aquarium near an abandoned bridge.
“As I got closer, I saw these eyes peering out at me and they looked like they needed help. That’s when I called authorities,” Williamson told WAPT-TV. He said it appeared that someone had sealed the aquarium with cement.
“They were put in here to drown," he told the news station. "They wanted these puppies to drown in here.”
