Story behind football's "yellow line"

I'm always amazed how they get all of that stuff on the field, and then remove it prior to the ball being snapped. :D
Oh it's amazing. I've seen them do it for Ohio State games when I was working there. The networks send out about a dozen semi-trucks of equipment. Mostly cables and controllers They also have about a half dozen satellite trucks. The crews arrive on Wednesday morning to start setting up for a game on Saturday and they usually have to bust their butts to get set up by game time.
