That's useful. I'll tell wee Jock McJock.
Should help with the referendum.

More like the strongest "beer". I know Tactical Nuclear Penguin basically just used freeze distillation to an absurd degree. Apparently, freeze distillation doesn't disqualify you from calling your product a "beer" in some circles, but they're basically freeze distilling to levels usually associated with whiskey. Cheap gimmick. Even extremely alcohol tolerant yeast strains aren't going to survive alcohol levels greater than ~20%, so you're not going to get anything stronger than that as a product of simple fermentation.

Brewdog has officially outdone TNP twice since then.

If you had read the article then you'd know that it came out on the 3rd October, feel free to say sorry whenever you want!!

An Aberdeenshire brewery has produced the world's strongest beer with a dizzying 65% ABV.

The Banchory-based Brewmeister Brewery has entered the race to manufacture increasingly powerful alcoholic products by unveiling their controversially-titled 'Armageddon' drink.
It isn't for the faint-hearted and at £5 for a 35ml nip is unlikely to become a best-seller.
Yet the 'Brewmeister Armageddon', which will be launched at the Inverness Beer Festival on November 3, will generate significant publicity in the ongoing battle between rival breweries.
