MIAMI, Florida (CNN) -- The minister has the number 666 tattooed on his arm.

But Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda is not your typical minister. De Jesus, or "Daddy" as his thousands of followers call him, does not merely pray to God: He says he is God.

"The spirit that is in me is the same spirit that was in Jesus of Nazareth," de Jesus says.

De Jesus' claims of divinity have angered Christian leaders, who say he is a fake. Religious experts say he may be something much more dangerous, a cult leader who really believes he is God. (Watch followers get 666 tattoos for their leader Video)

"He's in their heads, he's inside the heads of those people," says Prof. Daniel Alvarez, a religion expert at Florida International University who has debated some of de Jesus' followers.

No San Franciscan of my age can look at a nut like this without getting the heebedie-jeebedies (as Cedric the Entertainer might put it). Jim Jones looked a lot more sane than this before he started believing he was God on Earth.

This would give any Christian alive the heebs... He says he is Christ and has the 666? I wonder if he requires his followers to get the same tattoo, it seems like this guy desperately wants to be the "anti-Christ".

Read the article, it referenced something about his followers getting 666 tatoos as well.
Do you suppose these guys are Illuminati ?

Dunno, they're nutjobs. Even the stupid could see the references to the Christian's prophesies. I think they are more likely the people who want to "shock" the rest.

Maybe he used to be a pinhead who mocked Christianity on message boards, and tried to enforce his own warped concepts of christian morality on others, and cast judgements on them, until one day, he simply snapped? Maybe he told just one too many divorced people they were going to hell, or his anti-war bleeding heart conscience just finally got the best of him? Perhaps he was like most of you anti-God pinheads, and was so vehemently closed-minded to creationism, and argued so much that he went around full circle, and ended up at religious wacko?

Better be careful, it could happen to you!
