Diversity Makes Greatness
Here is a great documentary called

It's free. You can watch it online.

Big corporations have become massive power entities which were never intended to be so powerful when they were begun. They have acquired Constitutional rights which were never intended to be bestowed upon them, and have used them to become so powerful they tell governments what to do. They actually have more control over our government than we the people do. It is an interesting story of how it came to be that way.

Here is a wiki page on the documentary.

The Corporation - wiki

It's an old film, made in 2003.

Little has changed as far as the dominance of corporate power. If anything, they have only become even more powerful.

So anyway, if you're looking for a diversion, something to do while stuck at home, you might find this interesting.

This is probably very interesting.
My view: The US was founded as a 'Corporate State'. (The East india Company being the example)
The President is the Chairman.
The Congress is the Board.
The Property Owners being the Shareholders.

The US wasn't established by a bunch of Warlords, later referred to as 'Kings'.
The US was founded by a bunch of Merchants.

In the Old World, the Warlords would seize Land and Power.
The Merchant Class of London operated as a 'Company'.

"The Virginia Company refers collectively to two joint-stock companies chartered under James I on April 10, 1606 with the goal of establishing settlements on the coast of America. The two companies are referred to as the "Virginia Company of London" and the "Virginia Company of Plymouth", and they operated with identical charters in different territories.Wikipedia"

Right from the get go, the settlement of America was a Company operation.

The Documentary called 'Great British Ships' covered the story of the Mayflower. The program said because the ship made a late season passage it was heavily battered by storms and forced to land at Plymouth instead of their intended destination near the Hudson River. That was a big problem for them because they had no charter to land at Plymouth.
