and he has it at the end of the second stage. He'll probably hold onto it until the first high mountain stage. Watch out for the following two young riders who could upset the peloton. Peter Sagan (He dominated the Amgen Tour of California) and American T. J. Van Garderen (sp?). T. J. is riding in support for Cadel Evens on team BMC but if Cadel should happen to crack in the mountains there's a good chance they'll turn T.J. loose. T.J. has a realistic shot at winning the white Jersey.
 
Man I love the sprinter stages. Those guys are incredible athlete. Most non-fans don't appreciate that these star sprinters are athletes comparable to a Trent Richardson. Mark Cavendish has 32" thighs and can hit speeds, in traffic, of upwards to 45 mph. Also, to see how the team train comes together towards the end of the race to lead their guy out is not only extremely thrilling, it's plain poetry in motion.
