Trump listed the drugs he said would help. They do not. However, someone took a drug used for cleaning aquariums. because it was similar TRump's list was why he thought it would prevent Corona. Therefore, Trump's list of lies is responsible. If Trump did not announce those drugs on TV, the guy would still be alive.

In some ways it was a fluke. He had the help of Russia and the electoral college plus he was running against a Democrat who is largely unpopular on the Left.
However, the main reason people supported him is because he promised to stop mass immigration. Meanwhile, Democrats have become even more globalist, thus driving away voters who don't want open borders. These people probably won't vote for Trump, but they likely won't vote at all, which helps Trump.
What we really need is for the Left to embrace Nationalism, but I don't see that happening any time soon.
