I don't see how they are. A few RINO's and wussies certainly, but not the party as a whole.

The only think I can think of is that the sprinkler heads are clogged, and when the pump impeller turns inside stationary liquid it cavitates (shears the water so hard that it vaporizes it). This is an unusual condition, but I suppose possible since the suction lift is so high to begin with.

Try removing the sprinkler heads and running the system like that. If it works like that, then clean or replace the heads.

Good call, Ill try that.... I had that idea earlier but several people told me that was clearly not the problem.
