Mark Berndt, the teacher charged with committing lewd acts against nearly two dozen children at Miramonte Elementary School, including spoon-feeding them semen, has agreed to plead no contest to all charges, sources said Thursday.

He has agreed to a sentence of 25 years in prison.

Berndt, 61, will enter the no contest plea Friday morning in Los Angeles County Superior Court and withdraw his not guilty plea in connection with the more than yearlong L.A. County sheriff’s investigation into his conduct at the South Los Angeles school.

The Los Angeles Unified School District fired Berndt — but still pays the former Miramonte Elementary teacher nearly $4,000 a month on top of the $40,000 that convinced him to leave quietly.

Education reformers say that Butler, Eng and the other abstainers were motivated by their fear of the California Teachers Association, an extremely wealthy, aggressive union that has launched — and ruined — numerous Democrats' careers in California.

The CTA will protect these perverts no matter what they do.

Punched a child in the face

Beaumont Independent School District sources have confirmed that 24-year-old Michael Fisher is the teacher who is accused of punching a 12-year-old student in the face.

The reported attack took place on Friday, November 8 at Willie Ray Smith Middle School.

Seventh grader Reginald Wells claims Fisher, who was an assistant math teacher, hit him, busting his lip, and knocking him out.

Reginald's mother, Adrianne Wells, said a teacher witnessed the attack and Fisher was escorted off campus and fired. But Mrs. Wells says she believes Fisher should have been arrested, so she reported the incident to BISD police.

Sources tell 12News police interviewed Fisher Thursday, and that he's cooperating and feels remorseful and sad.

BISD police are pursuing a charge of injury to a child against Fisher, and will file the case with the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office.

Police expect to file the case with the DA's office sometime next week.

Jason Griego, 38, who taught seventh- and eighth-grade math at St. Anthony’s Catholic School in Oxnard, is accused of committing sexual assault.

Oxnard police said they began investigating in October after getting information from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. Griego lived on Naval Base Ventura County with a relative in the military, Giles said.

“We started investigating because he was involved in crimes with minors, and given that he was a schoolteacher, we took that very seriously,” Giles said.

Local police got search warrants for Griego and his vehicle and eventually found enough evidence to help Denton police serve an arrest warrant, officials said.

Deacon Henry Barajas, principal of St. Anthony’s, sent a letter to parents Tuesday informing them of the arrest.

Griego was fired from the school Nov. 22.

“As is our policy, Fr. Doan Pham and I along with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles have been fully cooperative with law enforcement on this investigation,” Barajas said. “The education and safety of our children is our primary concern.”

Another teacher will take over Griegos' classes for the rest of the year.

Griego was being held without bail on suspicion of two counts of aggravated sexual assault on a child, officials said.
